Sorry for the silence, it has been a busy month. I just finished the vocals for a Techno Electronica version of She's Gone. This was recorded for Korea due to be released in January 2012. The track sounds slamming and different. During this process we have also been moving from VA to Los Angeles, as you can imagine it has been challenging. Never the less we are alive and healthy. Considering the difficulties some people may be going through during the holidays, I feel blessed. Hello everyone, sorry for the long silence I have been busy in the studio recording some new material. The first song to be released is a Mili rendition of the classic song "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohan. I produced this track with a piano, string section and a choir. I have always wanted to do a holiday song and I am happy to share this one with you. The track is available now at the www.steelheartstore.com for digital download. Also starting on my birthday November 30, we will have a limited amount of signed Cd's of the single "Hallelujah" for sale only at the SteelHeart store. SteelHeart rocked the house all three nights this weekend!!! We will have footage of the shows shortly on the site as well & Mili called out to the band unexpectedly one of his favorite songs “Immigrant Song” from Led Zeppelin at the Vegas show “Santa Fe Station” and in San Juan “Brixton”. You must hear this. Led Zeppelin is one of Mili’s favorite bands of all time, he can sing Zepp like no other! Also we would like to announce a new addition to the lineup. Uros Raskovski. Uros worked with Miljenko on the new album “Good 2B Alive” and now he is part of the live show. As we all loved Bill, he wanted to pursue his own career with his band. Omaha NE (USA), January 26, 2009: Dana Altman of North Sea Films has announced a green light on production of “GOOD 2B ALIVE”, a documentary film about singer and composer, Miljenko Matijevic AKA “SteelHeart”. The film will be a detailed look into the extraordinary life of Miljenko and his music; an incredible journey back to the stage after the devastating accident in Denver Colorado during his performance at the “McNichols Arena. In 1992 on Halloween night SteelHeart had already a platinum selling album under their belt and their second album on its way to gold, when it all came to a screeching halt. A lighting truss collapsed and crushed him to the stage, removing him from the music scene and his life’s passion. In a sequence of, what can go wrong, did go wrong is the thread to this incredible true story of human perseverance, the resurrection of a Rock Star. An inspiring journey of the human spirit; how one man keeps the faith regardless of the odds. The producers are planning the final shoot to take place at a free festival called “GOOD 2B ALIVE”, in Zagreb Croatia, Miljenko’s birthplace. SteelHeart’s new album, “Good 2B Alive (G2BA),” written, produced and recorded by Miljenko Matijevic, is slated for European release October 24, 2008, immediately followed by its U.S. release on November 11, 2008. Preceding the album’s opening in both markets by Cargo Distribution and Red Eye Distribution, respectively, is the European release of SteelHeart’s live DVD entitled, “SteelHeart Still Hard,” on September 19, 2008.

Miljenko Matijevic’s distinctive, powerful, multi-octave vocals return on G2BA, an album chronicling the journey of a lifetime. Traversing personal experiences and the evolution of SteelHeart while weathering tragedy and triumph, Matijevic covers the gamut of human emotion, allowing listeners a vivid glimpse into his past, present and future. A creative work ten years in the making, G2BA emerges from the depths of anger, peace and patience, resurrecting SteelHeart with a modern, edgy sound while remaining loyal to its rock roots. From his childhood in Croatia to touring the world with SteelHeart… To that fateful night in 1993 when a 1,000-pound lighting rig collapsed onstage, nearly crushing him to death in front of thousands of shocked fans. The video shoot was a great success. Capt Dale Snodgrass the top gun pilot of all time
flew the L39 Jet for the video shoot with Mili. It was an amazing day of flying. The video is going to be incredible. We thank everyone who was there for the shoot. especially Capt. Dale Snodgrass, Pat Marsh (Owner of Vandy 1 L39)Shenandoah Harley Davidson, Gary Velasco and veryone at the Oceana Airport. A tailor of the video will be shown before SteelHeart's performance at the Rocklahoma concert on July 13th. The full length video will be aired sometime in August 2008. we will keep you informed.

Mili will be shooting part of the video for the song LOL at Ocean City MD on Saturday June 28th. Mili will fly with top gun pilot “Captain Dale Snodgrass”. (ATG) They will be flying in an L39 owned by his good friend Pat Marsh. Shenandoah Harley Davidson has also joined in and sponsored a Harley V-Rod for the shoot. Directing will be Dana Altman of North Sea Films.
